We personally haven't tried other milk option so we can't guarantee it's gonna work, but you can try and and tell us in the comments if it worked. For a nut free option you can try hemp, pea, or rice.
Story behind the recipe:
Chef and Allergy girl kept seeing biscuits and gravy everywhere and none were allergy friendly. They both craved it a lot and Chef decided he wanted to take on the challenge. It's a cozy breakfast classic and now all us allergy challenged people can have it!
There's lots you can do with this recipe. You can choose to put the sausage in the gravy or not have the sausage and just have it on top of some eggs or steak. You can also have some bacon with it or crumbled on top of it. It's great with or on top of potatoes or veggies. If you're a vegetarian there's also lots of options and it still pairs just as well with all your meat alternatives.
